About BlokRock

BlokRock is a precision, interlocking concrete formwork block, prefaced with natural stone.

The innovative, labor saving modular design means you can create a solid, structural concrete wall in hours rather than days.

No formwork for concrete is required, no mortar joints, no cladding, tiling or facing needed. The modular blocks simply slot together and hold each other rigid and true.

If required for higher or load bearing walls, reinforcing is just as simple with metal "X" joints securely embedded in the block supporting the vertical and horizontal steel rods enabling quick and easy tying. Concrete fill creates a solid and structurally sound wall*.

The modular, self aligning BlokRock system makes building a wall simple and quick.

Once a suitable, level foundation with any reinforcing required is constructed, the first course of blocks are positioned.

The second course is simply placed on top of the first. The channels align the blocks and the wall becomes its own formwork. Horizontal reinforcing is laid in the "X" and wired to verticals and the "X" in one action.

Once in place, concrete is poured into the cavity. Capping is also modular and locates securely on the top course.

Consult a structural engineer for walls that exceed 4 Blocks high.

Corner, End, Half, 45º, and Radius blocks are also readily available. We also offer a concrete cap.

Available in three standard slate finishes, BlokRock can also be ordered with travertine, limestone, granite, marble or in plain concrete.  All components can be faced on one or both sides with stone.

Three sizes of columns are also available. Small 8", Medium 14", and Large 18".  The Medium column is also available as a center column that joins with a wall and an end column.

With huge time savings and little need for specialist trades, BlokRock is an economical and long lasting wall alternative for builders, landscapers and developers.

BlokRock is ideal for D.I.Y. garden edging and low walls, requiring little or no skill to install. The lightweight blocks are easily handled and can be installed on a level concrete footing.
